Who We Are

Dα♥ is a Mario Kart Wii competitive pick-up group and a general Nintendo gaming community — but it's not just another community. Foundress Ramona and I have always looked up to females and their ability to be graceful, compassionate, yet strong-willed and tenacious. We then looked at the rest of the Mario Kart community and saw everything the same: male-dominated, restrictive and stifling. That's not how we think gender should be. So we established Dα♥ under a very specific theme.

Of course, even having a theme sets us apart from our peers in the clan world. At the core of it, every single one of us in this clan is, in some way, female. We're soft but fierce, and we show this through the names we adopt, the Miis we use in the games we play, and the culture we espouse as a clan and community. Some of you might want to go further. Go ahead—but it's not for everyone.

If you're looking for a culture change in this community, that is part of the reason we exist. If you're into crossplaying, we're here for you too.

Competitively, we are a founding team in the Custom Server League, which is also run by Katherine (that would be me). We have left the CSL as of the conclusion of its 5th season, therefore we have participated in a total of 6 CSL seasons.

Our Nintendo gaming community has a wider range; we play Mario Kart 7 and 8 as well as Super Smash Bros. 4 and Brawl. Even if you are already in a Mario Kart Wii clan, you can join our community side. Give it a shot!
